Ingredients:
2 pounds shredded chicken
Package of chicken taco seasoning (or another seasoning mix of
choice,Frontera Chicken skillet)
1/2 onion diced
1 cup shredded cheese of choice (cheddar)
2 frozen pie crusts, thawed
A dusting of flour (to roll out the crust)
Spray cooking oil of choice (coconut or avocado oil)
garnishes (sour cream, salsa, guacamole)
Directions:

  1. Push the Air Fry button on the Instant Pot Duo Crisp Air Fryer. Set
    the prescribed temperature and push start to begin preheating.
  2. Shred the meat properly
  3. Take a medium bowl and mix the meat along with onion, sauce, and
    cheese
  4. Roll out to each pie crust over the dusting of flour
  5. Using a ramekin or small bowl to make a circle imprint on the dough
  6. Cut out the circle finely
  7. Cut additional circles by re-rolling the dough
  8. Add a small amount of filling on each circle and fold over to form a
    half-circle shape
  9. Pinch or crimp the dough and shut using a fork
  10. Once the appliance is preheated, add food to the Air Fry tray and
    Close the lid. Air fry for around minutes, turning the empanadas half
    way though
  11. Garnish with salsa and sour cream and/or guacamole
